THE BIG FEASTIVAL 2021 – “CANNOT WAIT”

Host Alex James said: “I cannot wait to welcome everyone back to the farm this summer for our 10th birthday party! We’re all in need of a serious celebration this year so we’re pulling out all the stops to ensure this is our best line-up yet. Roll on August!”

A BELTER OF A START

The Big Feastival 2021 will be kicking off its anniversary celebrations with a belter of a start on Friday night thanks to multi-platinum selling DJ Sigala. With anthems Wish You Well, Came Here For Love and Just Got Paid perfect to get the party started!

On Saturday night the festival will welcome the king of funk Nile Rodgers & CHIC. With an unrivalled career spanning more than five decades and 500 million albums sales, Nile Rodgers & CHIC will have the farm boogying along to hits such as Le Freak, Good Times, We Are Family and Let’s Dance.

Rag’n’Bone Man brings the festival to an unforgettable close on Sunday night. The BRIT Award winner comes fresh from the release of his long-awaited second album “Life By Misadventure” this Spring.

His critically acclaimed 4 times platinum debut “Human” included hits such as Human, Skin and Giant under his belt, Rag’n’Bone Man has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting acts to have emerged from the British Music scene in recent years.

POP SENSATION

Joining the line-up and making her Feastival debut is one of pop’s brightest young stars, Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson.

Zara will have fans singing along to hits including Lush Life, which spent more than a year in the UK chart and has a whopping 950m streams on Spotify. Also, Never Forget You and the massive number 1 single Symphony with Clean Bandit will feature alongside tracks from her new album “Poster Girl”, being released on 5 March.

Also joining the bill will be Knutsford singer songwriter Tom Walker. The BRITs 2019 ‘British Breakthrough Act’ is best known for his platinum singles Leave A Light On and Just You And I – as well as R&B singer and “Waiting All Night” superstar Ella Eyre, whose collaboration with Rudimental topped the UK chart and received the BRIT Award for ‘British Single of the Year’.

The weekend will also feature iconic girl group All Saints, who became one of the most successful pop groups of the 1990s, trip-hop duo Morcheeba, rock band Reef, British DJ Judge Jules, social media sensation and X Factor Celebrity runner ups Max & Harvey, pioneering DJ Norman Jay MBE, Big Feastival favourites The Cuban Brothers and local heroes Duke are also set to perform, plus many more acts yet to be announced.

CULINARY STARS

The Big Feastival will also host an incredible line up of Britain’s most acclaimed culinary stars. Nathan Outlaw is hailed as one of Britain’s finest fish cooks. The chef will be taking to the Big Feastival stage bringing with him his signature Cornish seafood! His protégé Tom Brown, the esteemed chef behind the incredible Michelin-starred Cornerstone in Hackney, London, is also confirmed.

That’s along with Mark Hix, the celebrated chef, restaurateur and food writer- at the forefront of British Gastronomy for 17 years. Notably this earnt Mark an MBE in 2017 for his services to hospitality.

Ching He Huang also joins the line-up! The Emmy-nominated TV chef & cookery author received an MBE for her services to the Culinary Arts in 2020. She’ll be sharing her vibrant culinary adventures and dynamic approach to modern Chinese cuisine. While Ping Coombes makes her Big Feastival debut! The MasterChef winner is set to continue spreading the love for Malaysian food across the UK. One of the UK’s most respected chefs, Michelin-starred Theo Randall, is also set to make his long-awaited return to the festival nine years after his first appearance with his exquisite Italian culinary talents.

ALEX JAMES’ LEGENDARY CHEESE HUB RETURNS!

Emmy-nominated TV chef & cookery author Jack Stein, chef director across the world-renowned Rick Stein’s restaurants, will showcase his culinary mastery. He will be appearing showcasing his passion for the world’s great cuisines. This will be alongside Skye Mcalpine, who will be sharing the secrets behind her inspirational blog. The perfect place to learn all about Venetian food and culture. Also joining the line-up are baking expert, cook and TV presenter Juliet Sear, award-winning cook and food writer Georgina Hayden.

As well as father and daughter team Kitty & Alex Tait from The Orange Bakery, who will be representing the next generation of emerging talent. A firm favourite of The Big Feastival, grill legend DJ BBQ returns in 2021. Serving gnarly American barbeque food at its finest, a natural entertainer with his ideal blend of “meats and beats”. Festival goers can also look forward to world class Street Food, Cookery Schools with M&S, Supper Clubs and of course Alex James’ legendary Cheese Hub!

FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

The Big Feastival boasts the very best in family entertainment throughout the weekend! There is guaranteed to be something to keep even the smallest festival goers entranced. You can be assured kids are entertained from start to finish with what’s on offer! This year they can enjoy a festival favourite, Children’s TV Megastar Justin Fletcher, who’ll be bringing his mix of fun and frivolity to the main stage, alongside the Big Feastival premiere of Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part Five, as well as five-piece band Andy and the Odd Socks, fronted by CBBC’s Andy Day, who will get the kids rocking their socks off.

Little festival goers can also take part in interactive storytelling and theatre games from Roald Dahl & The Imagination Seekers, learn new skills at Circus School, and get creative in crafting workshops by the award-winning animation studio behind Wallace and Gromit, Aardman Animation. The Big Feastival 2021 will also see the return of Adam Henson’s Cotswolds Farm Par! And Bedtime Stories – read by some very Special Guests! The popular Vintage Funfair with will be there again, plus much more live entertainment to be discovered.
