Adam Buxton Podcast

“Hello podcats!” screams Dr Buckles. Now this is a familiar greeting for anyone who has been tuning into Adam’s ramble chats these past few years! But those who haven’t yet discovered him – where the hell have you been? I’m not just a “podcat” I’m a fully fledged member of Black Squadron! Yes, Black Squadron was those of us up early enough to listen to the first hour of the Adam and Joe radio show on BBC 6 Music. Most had followed the comedy duo’s progression from TV to radio seamlessly. However, since Joe Cornish has now established himself as a Hollywood film director, Adam Buxton has gone on to establish his very own podcast interviewing people from the world of entertainment. Mostly fellow comedians, but also including his beloved dog Rosie, childhood friend Louis Theroux and some musical heroes – Paul McCartney is a must-listen!

Now we’ve recommended our personal favourite – it must also be said you should go back and discover the Adam and Joe show podcasts, even the full recording of the original shows all available on a fan-maintained website https://www.adamandjoearchive.org/ – we thought we’d continue in this vain, celebrating our favourite podcast subscriptions! Most are free to listen to via whatever listening services at your disposal and have treasured archive of episodes to feast your ears on. You might discover one you like too!?
