Returning to our great city from 9th – 12th October: BEYOND THE MUSIC 2024, the Manchester music festival and change-making conference!

This year’s edition will offer three days of vital conversation, networking events and announcements between cross industry leaders at Aviva Studios, before unfolding into an expansive, new music showcase across the iconic Northern Quarter’s independent venues.

With over 200 genre spanning artists, 25% of whom have been selected from the North West – 2024’s event is really striving to showcase grassroots talent on a global platform.

The conference programme is unique in its solution based approach to major industry issues, with conversations this year focussing on codes of conduct surrounding mental health and misogyny within the creative industries, as well as discussions around AI copyright law, supporting grassroots venues and lots more.
