Christmas at TheJournalix.com/

“Ho, ho, ho… Holy crap it’s hot in here!” Merry Christmas! Yes like it or lump it, it’s Christmas time and Una has come up with her very favourite alternative Christmas songs! Some people might call it a playlist, others might be so impressed with what they hear, that they’ll make a good old fashioned mixtape to put on in the car as they deliver presents to loved ones on Christmas Eve. That’s what I’d do anyway, just maybe don’t play the Post Apocalypse Christmas track (see below) too loudly when you get to Grandma’s house.

This list is ever-evolving, feel free to send in your suggestions but for now – enjoy and Merry Christmas from THE JOURNALIX team!

Just Like Christmas – Low (1999)

Vegetarian Christmas – FEET (2019)

I Wish It Was Christmas Today – Julian Casablancas (2009)

Donna and Blitzen – Badly Drawn Boy (2002)

Something for You – Best Coast and Wavves (2010)

Are You Coming Over This Christmas? – Belle & Sebastian (2007)

The Carol Of The Bells – The Bird and the Bee (2007)

Bethlehem – Declan McKenna (2016)

Christmas Time (Don’t Let The Bells End) – The Darkness (2003)

Christmas Lights – Coldplay (2003)

Post Apocalypse Christmas – Gruff Rhys (2011)

Christmastime – The Smashing Pumpkins (1998)

Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – Death Cab For Cutie (2004)

It’s Christmas So We’ll Stop – Frightened Rabbit (2010)
