With five playable AUTOBOTS including Optimus Prime and Bumblebee and six playable DECEPTICONS, including Megatron and Nemesis Prime, gamers will unlock new weapons and skills as you progress round the tracks and collect the 70 available Prime Relics to gain an advantage on the tracks. To play at a different pace, you can also shift gears into Arcade Mode and race against a friend in up to 2-player local multiplayer.
SOME GUIDED-GAMING FOR BEGINNERS
As an introduction to the game you will play through a race as Bumblebee – hands-down, probably the coolest Transformer from years gone by – and it’s a great way to quickly learn the controls. It’s not for the faint-hearted mixing the combat and racing. It will take a short time to learn both aspects of the game. But from playing this I can tell you: you will be eager to perfect your skills. The game is full of fun, and it’s this variation which is such a strong point to the video game. Essentially, you’re buying 2 games in 1 and the quality is not compromised for it either.
COMPETE IN A FRENETIC FUSION OF RACING & COMBAT
Choose your loyalty by playing as iconic AUTOBOTS or DECEPTICONS! Evil NEMESIS PRIME has stolen the Prime Relics that bestow incredible powers on whoever possesses them. Collect the stolen Prime Relics across the tracks to unlock new skills. Make it to the finish line by racing around 10 battle-race circuits in both vehicle and bot form, beating enemies along the way in exciting rogue-lite combat!

Now the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS are in an explosive race to recover these powerful artifacts. To win races you will need to learn to drift… With the this classic arcade racing style, Boost Pads also offer an advantage – that’s if you can land them!? This is a solid game and it’s unique mix of combat and racing! Providing a fresh take on a much-loved franchise. It will appeal to fans and gamers – but is a must-buy for fans especially, given the care, consideration and meticulous detail Outright Games has served up once again for a licensed video game.
