One question me and my wife constantly ask each other – apart from “whose turn is it to put the bins out?” – is “what is the correct order that the Marvel movies were released?”
AN ALTERNATIVE MARVEL MOVIES ORDER?
I mean, we don’t constantly ask each other this. We probably never have, but honestly we do watch these films often and in turn question where each of the films fits in with the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Like did Thor really come before Captain America? Which phase was Guardians of the Galaxy?

So without further ado here is a handy table to refer to… And I’ve also included an extra column with the year the film is set! It is debatable whether you use this to follow the order in which to watch the films but in my humble opinion you have to watch in release date order. This way all the references and extras make sense. Enjoy!
