We’re going to indulge in 2 of our favourite things now, presenting to you The Simpsons’ Beatles! We’re living in the age of the crossover, with things you wouldn’t believe coming together in a nerd’s fantasy somewhere but what’s more – most of them are working! Be it a Batman Lego movie, Super Smash Bros. or the MCU the most important aspect is that the approach is well thought through, respectful to all sides and are all contained within a story that is actually worth telling.

We’ll get deeper into this some other time, but one place became commonplace to see was The Simpsons. Right from the off, guest stars would lend their voices to either cartoon versions of themselves or newly scripted characters to be a part of some of the biggest television events of the century. And as the show grew, the more ambitious they became in attaining the biggest pop culture stars.

Let’s hear it folks, introducing… The Beatles!

THE SIMPSONS’ BEATLES

Ringo stars as himself in “Brush with Greatness” (Season 2, 1991)

The fab four appear in Lisa’s dreams during “Last Exit to Springfield” (Season 4, 1993)

The hot sun melts the waxworks of The Beatles in “Bart of Darkness” (Season 6, 1994)

“Homer’s Barbershop Quartet” (Season 5, 1993) plays homage to The Beatles backstory with George Harrison guest starring

The Be Sharps famous last rooftop concert, but George has other ideas…
